widening i3 theme

love this theme but where do i look at changing the width of the theme as its a bit narrow

Hi,

In style.css you would need to change:

#wrapper -> width: 985px;
#left-col -> width: 545px;
#content -> width: 495px; (you can delete this width)

You will also have to make new background graphics for the top and bottom of the content area (images/content-top-bg.png and images/content-bottom-bg.png) since these are made to fit a specific width.

As you can see it's not that easy to change the width of a fixed-width theme, but it is possible with some work.

As always i recommend using Firefox and Firebug when you work with html and css.

Hi There

First of all sorry for my English :)

Would you tell me, why custom pages and plug-ins pages doesn't look good (different to news page for example)

It look like piece of left sidebar inside content.

Also, how do I can delete horizontal navigation and put caption of page there, instead of caption inside content box - something like $caption, if you now what do I mean :)

To fix i3theme for newer versions of e107 you need to do this:

Open the file theme.php from i3theme in an text editor and find line 198, it should say:


switch ($switch) {

Add this below that line:


case 'cpage':

When done it should look like this:


switch ($switch) {

    case 'cpage':

    case 'default':

    case '':

    case 'news_cat':

..and so on.

Save the file and overwrite your old one.

But I need a little help more: sgallery - the same problem. I tried add another line with different words like 'gallery', 'sgallery' - but it doesn't works.
